Bradford on Avon After deciding to put our house on the market we contacted all the regional estate agents to compare service levels and rates. Whilst evaluating the ‘established’ agents we came across House-Hut.com who promised not only lower sales commission but still offered the same service levels. They were a newly started company who claimed to have found a niche in the market; selling your house on the Internet but with the help of an agent - we are as a nation not yet so confident that we are ready to buy & sell houses without the help of a middleman but neither do we want to pay between 2% & 3% of the selling price for the privilege.
House-hut.com did exactly what they promised; we had a steady flow of interested buyers, not just local but from across the UK, instead of the usual burst of activity followed by no or little interest when using traditional agents. We accepted an offer on our property within 12 weeks.
And when complications arose, as they always do, Paul & Maria acted as the middleman / communicator and supported the sales process throughout to completion.
We were one of the first to register with House-hut.com and liked their simple approach - saving us over £5k in the process. When we come to sell in the future we will most definitely be selling through House-hut again.
